The Arabian Oryx Sanctuary in the Wilayat of Haima in Al Wusta Governorate of Oman has seen a significant increase in visitors, with over 1,300 people exploring the area since the beginning of 2024. The vast Arabian Oryx Sanctuary spans 2,824 square kilometers and boasts a variety of wildlife, including approximately 900 Arabian Oryx, along with sand gazelles, Arabian gazelles, Nubian ibex, sand foxes, striped hyenas, wild rabbits, and honey badgers. This rich biodiversity enriches the experience of visitors and deepens their understanding of the natural heritage of Oman.
