Al Khater meets with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister

Minister of State for International Cooperation, H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, recently met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, H E Yasin Ekrem Serim in Mersin. During the meeting, Al Khater also had discussions with Deputy Interior Minister Munir Karaloglu, Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, and Head of Disaster and Emergency Management Authority Okay Memis. The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of a business lunch, focused on cooperation between the two countries.

One of the main topics of discussion was the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. Al Khater and Serim also talked about the situation in Syria. The two sides emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relations between Qatar and Turkiye, and the need for continued collaboration on various issues of mutual interest.

The meeting in Mersin highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between Qatar and Turkiye. The discussions also touched on the latest regional developments, including the situation in Gaza and Syria.
