Experience the grandeur of Emirati culture and heritage at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) as it returns this weekend. Visitors can witness historical battles of the Ottoman Empire through archery on horseback, falcon and saluki beauty contests, and explore the best hunting knives and rifles. The 21st edition of the exhibition, the largest to date, promises to be a celebration of cherished traditions of hunting and equestrianism with over 1,700 exhibitors and participants from 65 countries across 11 sectors.

Throughout the nine days from August 31, the exhibition will showcase innovative products from 435 local companies and participants from around the world. Visitors can witness traditional performances, gymnastics, and dance on a moving horse, as well as observe thrilling shooting competitions that showcase the special bond between horse and handler. Attendees can also learn about the history of Arabian horses, go pony riding, and watch daring stunts and multi-horse-riding techniques.

Don’t miss the falcon beauty contest, Arabian Saluki beauty contest, and competitions highlighting the unique characteristics of Arabian horses. The exhibition has attracted thousands of residents and tourists over the past 20 years with its exciting events and live demonstrations. Additionally, the popular falcon auction will be an online event for the first time, allowing bidders to bid for premium falcons online in addition to live physical auctions.

Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers Club, highlighted the importance of the exhibition in promoting Arab heritage and traditions. The Gymkhana for People of Determination will showcase contestants navigating an obstacle course, promoting cognitive development and horsemanship skills. Exhibitors can compete for the best stand design judged on sustainable materials and creativity, and the most unique product exhibition title. The exhibition celebrates an adventurous outdoor lifestyle, arts and crafts, and advanced fishing gear, serving as a platform for networking and learning about industry innovations.

The nine-day exhibition will run until September 8 at the ADNEC, offering a unique opportunity to immerse in Emirati culture and traditions. Explore the beauty and elegance of Arabian horses, watch exciting competitions and demonstrations, and participate in events celebrating the rich heritage of hunting and equestrianism. Whether you are a resident or visitor, ADIHEX offers a memorable experience that showcases the best of Emirati culture and heritage in an engaging and interactive setting. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this grand celebration of traditions and innovations in hunting and equestrianism.
