The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) has extended the application deadline for the Parent-Friendly Label, which recognizes workplaces that support working parents. Companies now have until September 19 to complete their nomination files and submit them for the opportunity to receive the mark and its associated benefits. The Quality Mark Program for a Supportive Work Environment for Parents aims to promote work cultures and policies that enable parents to balance work and family responsibilities while ensuring their children receive proper care and attention.

The Parent-Friendly Label is awarded to institutions that meet the program’s criteria and demonstrate their commitment to supporting working parents. Since its launch in 2021, the program has had a significant impact on the lives of more than 148,000 employees across various sectors in the country. Over 67,000 parents of children aged 0-8 and 1,492 children with disabilities have benefited from the program, highlighting the importance of creating supportive work environments for families.

With the deadline extension, semi-government, private, and third-sector institutions have more time to participate in the Parent-Friendly Workplace Quality Mark Program and potentially receive the label. By fostering a culture that values work-life balance and supports working parents, companies can attract and retain talent while promoting employee well-being. Additionally, the label can enhance an organization’s reputation as a family-friendly employer, leading to increased employee satisfaction and loyalty.

To stay updated on the latest news and developments regarding the Parent-Friendly Label and other initiatives, individuals can follow KT on WhatsApp Channels. This allows them to receive real-time updates and information about the program, as well as other relevant news in the early childhood education and workplace support sectors. By staying informed, individuals can take advantage of opportunities to participate in programs that promote parental well-being and work-life balance.

In conclusion, the Parent-Friendly Workplace Quality Mark Program offers organizations a chance to be recognized for their efforts in supporting working parents and creating a conducive work environment for families. By extending the application deadline, more companies have the opportunity to showcase their commitment to employee welfare and family-friendly policies. Through initiatives like the Parent-Friendly Label, we can build a culture that values work-life balance and prioritizes the well-being of working parents and their families.
