The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) recently made a significant arrest in the Riyadh region, where a Saudi citizen was caught attempting to sell 59 kilograms of hashish. Following his arrest, the necessary legal action was taken against him, and he has since been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation. This incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing battle against drug smuggling and selling in the kingdom.

In response to this arrest, the security authorities have called on citizens and residents to report any information pertaining to drug-related activities to the GDNC. This can be done by calling the toll-free number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in all other regions. Additionally, individuals can email their tips to [email protected]. The directorate assures the public that all information provided will be treated confidentially.

The GDNC plays a crucial role in combating drug trafficking and abuse in Saudi Arabia. With the help of informed citizens and residents, law enforcement agencies can better identify and apprehend individuals involved in such illegal activities. Through proactive reporting, the community can contribute to creating a safer and drug-free environment for everyone.

Drug smuggling and selling pose a serious threat to society, leading to various social and health problems. By cracking down on such criminal activities, authorities aim to protect the well-being of individuals and families across the kingdom. The recent arrest in Riyadh serves as a testament to the commitment of the GDNC in upholding the law and ensuring the safety of the community.

The GDNC encourages the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or activities that may be linked to drug trafficking. By working together with law enforcement agencies, individuals can help prevent the spread of illegal drugs and safeguard their communities. Every report received is a step towards dismantling drug networks and holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.

In conclusion, the recent arrest of a Saudi citizen in Riyadh for attempting to sell hashish highlights the ongoing efforts of the GDNC in combating drug trafficking. By raising awareness and encouraging citizens to report any information related to drug smuggling or selling, the authorities are taking proactive steps to address this issue. With the support of the community, law enforcement agencies can effectively tackle the challenges posed by drug abuse and ensure a safer environment for all.
