Global Presence and Outstanding Efforts
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, the Acting Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stated that these positive results reflect the growing presence of UAE universities in international rankings. This success is attributed to the continuous efforts of higher education institutions to enhance academic standards and research capabilities, thereby increasing their global competitiveness. The results signify significant progress and provide valuable insights that will guide the next phase of developing the higher education system.
Al Awar added that there is a focus on building a higher education system that enables students to acquire future skills, enhances impactful research and innovation, and supports collaboration between universities and various economic sectors. He emphasized that continuing to work closely with higher education institutions is crucial to leverage strengths, capitalize on development opportunities, and further enhance the global presence of higher education in the UAE.
