Doha, Qatar – A thrilling day of racing at Al Rayyan Racecourse culminated in Mohammed Kamaan Saeed Al Hajri, riding Malzoom, being honored as the champion of the Al Sabiq Championship. His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani presented awards to the top riders following a day of intense competition that saw Wathnan Racing dominate with seven victories. The event underscored Qatar’s continued commitment to equestrian sports and its growing prominence on the international racing calendar.

The prestigious H E Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani Rifle Day featured ten races, with Aafoor winning the Thoroughbreds Rifle for Al Jeryan Stud and Lippo De Carrere securing the Purebred Arabians Trophy for Wathnan Racing. These victories highlighted the skill of both seasoned and emerging riders and trainers within the Qatari racing community.
