692 shooters participate in the Muscat Nights shooting competition

The shooting competition in Al Amerat, Oman saw 692 shooters from various governorates participating in the event. The competition was organized as part of the Muscat Nights activities and was held at the traditional shooting ground in the Wilayat of Al Amerat. The event was held under the patronage of Sheikh Salim bin Rabie Al Senaidi, Wali of Al Amerat, and with the presence of Luciano Rossi, President of the International Shooting Sport Federation.

Participants were divided into 21 groups with 33 shooters in each group, competing over the course of two days. The top 50 shooters from these groups then qualified for the finals, where they battled it out for top honors. At the conclusion of the event, the Wali of Al Amerat honored the shooters who achieved top positions in the competition, highlighting their skill and dedication to the sport.

Ahmed bin Saif Al Shibli, Head of Al Amerat Traditional Weapons Shooting Team Committee, presented commemorative shields to Luciano Rossi and the Wali of Al Amerat as a token of appreciation for their support of the event. Luciano Rossi expressed his pleasure at the successful organization of the competition and emphasized the importance of supporting the youth and promoting championships like this. He commended the efforts of the organizers and the attention given to shooting competitions by the relevant authorities.

Overall, the shooting competition in Al Amerat was a success, bringing together shooters from across the Sultanate of Oman to showcase their skills and compete in a friendly yet competitive environment. The event not only provided a platform for shooters to demonstrate their talent but also highlighted the importance of supporting the youth and promoting sports activities in the region.
