Copperstone Education, in collaboration with American University in Dubai and Growmore, is hosting the Common Core Boot Camp in Dubai on September 21. This event aims to bring together over 400 US curriculum teachers and school leaders for professional development and networking opportunities. The Common Core Boot Camp, established in 2019, has quickly become a vital event for educators seeking to enhance their expertise in common core standards. This year’s boot camp will feature 14 experienced experts delivering insights and strategies applicable in the classroom.

Veronica Griffin, M.Ed., co-founder of Common Core Boot Camp, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event, delivering a message on “Empowering the ‘Why’.” Nadera Alborno, Ed.D, Dean and Professor of Education at American University in Dubai, highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing AUD’s commitment to supporting American curriculum teachers and fostering knowledge exchange in the educational landscape. The event promises to provide participants with a dynamic platform for learning, networking, and growth, guided by top-tier educational leaders and peers from the region.

Jeffrey Smith, managing director of Copperstone Education and co-founder of Common Core Boot Camp, expressed that the event is more than just another conference or professional development day. It is a celebration of educators, providing them with the tools and resources needed for a successful year. The event will be hosted by American University in Dubai, with Growmore as the featured sponsor and partner. Other sponsors include Snowie UAE, EUPad, Globed, and Dreamy Designs, all supporting educators in their pursuit of knowledge and growth.

Shailendra Srivastava, representing Growmore, emphasized their commitment to creating a better future through seamless learning experiences. Their mission is to bring together people, ideas, practices, and technologies to help educators and learners reach their full potential. The event’s organizing committee comprises school leaders from various institutions across the UAE, working together to ensure the success of the Common Core Boot Camp.
