Al Arabi, the defending champions, are preparing for their Round of 16 match against Al Sailiya in the Amir Cup. The team’s coach, Younes Ali, is confident that his players will put up a strong performance to secure their second consecutive title. Despite finishing fifth in the Expo Stars League, Al Arabi has high hopes for the tournament and believes they have the potential to retain the title.

Having won the Amir Cup last season after a 30-year drought, Al Arabi is determined to continue their success. They reached the Ooredoo Cup final earlier this season and won the Qatar-UAE Super Cup last month. The team is focused on giving their best in the upcoming matches, starting with their clash against Al Sailiya in the Round of 16.

Al Sailiya, a Second Division side, earned their spot in the Round of 16 with a 1-0 win over Al Kharaitiyat in the preliminary round. The team’s coach, Mirghani Al Zain, is optimistic about their chances in the tournament and is aiming to progress to the quarter-finals. The players are fully prepared for a tough match against Al Arabi but are determined to give their all on the field.

In another Round of 16 clash, Al Duhail will face Al Shamal with hopes of redeeming a disappointing season. Al Duhail, who finished sixth in the Expo Stars League after a treble-winning season last year, are looking to make amends in the Amir Cup. The team’s coach, Christophe Galtier, emphasized the importance of the tournament and the need for a strong performance from his players.

The players of Al Duhail are focused on ending the season with a trophy and securing a spot in the AFC Champions League. Captain Almoez Ali expressed their determination to perform well in the tournament and reach the final. Their first challenge will be against Al Shamal, who are also eager for an upset victory. Al Shamal’s coach, Poya Asbaghi, and forward Ricardo Gomes are confident in their abilities to compete against a strong opponent like Al Duhail.

Both Al Arabi and Al Duhail are looking to make their mark in the Amir Cup and end the season on a high note. As the tournament progresses, fans can expect intense matches and fierce competition as these teams battle it out for the prestigious title. With a mix of experienced players and young talents, these teams are ready to showcase their skills and determination on the field.
