The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a yellow alert for dust, sand, and winds reaching up to 40kmph. This alert is in effect from 8 am to 6 pm today, with horizontal visibility expected to drop to less than 2000m in some internal areas. Additionally, there is a forecast for rainfall in some Eastern and Southern areas, with humidity levels varying between 15% in the mountains and up to 90% in coastal areas and islands. It is also expected to be humid by night and Wednesday morning in some Western coastal areas.

Temperatures are predicted to range between 33℃ and 44℃ in Dubai, and between 32℃ and 45℃ in Abu Dhabi. The sea conditions are expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea. It is important to stay updated with the latest news and weather alerts, which can be done by following KT on WhatsApp Channels. This information is crucial for residents and visitors to take necessary precautions and stay safe during adverse weather conditions.

It is advisable for residents and tourists to be prepared for potential hazards such as reduced visibility due to dust and sandstorms, as well as strong winds. Driving conditions may be affected, so caution is advised while on the roads. Additionally, the combination of high temperatures and humidity levels can lead to discomfort, so staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun is recommended. It is also important to follow weather updates and any official warnings issued by the authorities to ensure safety.

In light of the yellow alert for dust, sand, and strong winds, it is essential to secure loose objects and take necessary precautions to protect property and belongings. This includes securing outdoor furniture, vehicles, and any other items that may be affected by the weather conditions. Being proactive in safeguarding personal belongings and property can help prevent damage and ensure safety during adverse weather events. By staying informed and prepared, individuals can minimize the risks associated with the changing weather conditions and avoid potential hazards.

With the possibility of rainfall in certain areas, it is important to be mindful of potential flooding and take appropriate measures to prevent water damage. Clearing gutters, ensuring proper drainage, and avoiding low-lying areas prone to flooding can help mitigate the impact of heavy rainfall. It is also advisable to stay updated on any flood warnings and evacuation orders issued by the authorities in order to respond effectively to changing weather conditions. By being proactive and prepared, individuals can protect themselves and their property from the risks associated with inclement weather.

In conclusion, staying informed, prepared, and proactive is key to navigating through adverse weather conditions. By following official weather alerts, taking necessary precautions, and staying safe during dust storms, strong winds, or rainfall, individuals can minimize the risks and ensure their well-being. It is important to keep an eye on weather updates, follow safety guidelines, and seek assistance if needed to address any challenges that may arise due to changing weather conditions.
