The Dubai AI Campus has been officially launched at the Dubai International Financial Centre, as part of Dubai’s ambitious plan to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence applications. In a statement, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, highlighted the importance of this initiative in fostering the growth of AI startups. The campus offers access to supercomputers for training AI algorithms and aims to create a supportive legislative environment for next-generation AI companies. With plans to attract over 500 companies and create more than 3,000 job opportunities, the campus is set to expand to over 100,000 square feet by 2028.
Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the Dubai AI Campus seeks to generate Dh100 billion annually from digital transformation projects to Dubai’s economy over the next decade.
