The PairPoint platform developed by Vodafone offers decentralized digital identities to IoT devices, enabling them to operate across various systems and organizations. This concept opens up numerous possibilities, such as autonomous vehicles being able to pay for services independently. However, Palmer emphasizes the importance of securing these hardware wallets against cyber threats, acknowledging the potential risks they face from hackers.
