UAE warmly receives 17th group of injured Palestinian children and cancer patients

The UAE continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing medical treatment and care for wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients from the Gaza Strip. The 17th group of patients arrived in the UAE, following the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to offer medical assistance to 1,000 injured children and 1,000 cancer patients. The patients were swiftly transferred to hospitals upon arrival, where they received urgent care and treatment. The UAE’s hospitals offer the highest levels of healthcare to ensure the well-being of the patients.

This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people and address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. The UAE has established a field hospital in Gaza and a floating hospital in Egypt, in addition to providing hospitals in the Gaza Strip with essential medical equipment, supplies, and ambulances. The UAE is also treating 2,000 wounded and cancer-stricken children in its hospitals and providing medical support to hospitals operating within the Gaza Strip.
