Local charity organization in Ajman has launched a Dh3 million initiative to help residency violators with their visa status. The International Charity Organization (ICO) introduced the ‘Correction of the Status of Violators’ campaign in collaboration with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP). The initiative aims to waive fines for individuals who have violated entry and residency regulations. The two-month visa amnesty program, which started on September 1, allows violators to either regularize their status or leave the country without incurring bans, fines, or exit fees.

Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, the secretary-general of the ICO, emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting national campaigns like this one. By exempting individuals from residency fines, the initiative provides them with an opportunity to amend their status. The ICO aims to process 600 applications from eligible individuals in the initial phase of the program. It is important for visa amnesty seekers to bring all necessary documents to expedite the process and ensure a successful application.

One of the key aspects of the initiative is to encourage violators to take advantage of the opportunity to correct their status. By participating in the program, individuals can avoid facing bans, fines, or exit fees, providing them with a fresh start. Typing centers in the UAE are urging visa amnesty seekers to ensure they have all the required documents in order to facilitate the application process. This includes valid identification, proof of residency violation, and any other relevant paperwork. By being prepared with all necessary documents, applicants can expedite their application and increase their chances of approval.

As part of the visa amnesty program, individuals have the option to either regularize their status by obtaining a residency visa or leave the country without facing any penalties. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for violators to correct their status and comply with UAE immigration laws. By participating in the program, individuals can avoid potential legal consequences and ensure they have the necessary documentation to remain in the country legally. It is important for applicants to follow the guidelines outlined by the ICO and ensure they have all required documents ready for submission.

The ICO’s initiative aligns with the broader campaign led by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP). By collaborating with government entities, the ICO aims to support national initiatives that benefit residents in the UAE. The exemption of residency fines and the opportunity to correct visa status demonstrates the organization’s commitment to assisting individuals in need. By working together with government agencies, the ICO is able to reach a larger audience and provide necessary support to those seeking to regularize their status.

In conclusion, the visa amnesty program launched by the ICO provides a valuable opportunity for residency violators to correct their status and comply with UAE immigration laws. By participating in the initiative, individuals can avoid fines, bans, and exit fees, ensuring a smooth transition to legal residency. It is essential for applicants to bring all necessary documents to the typing centers to facilitate the processing of their applications. By following the guidelines and requirements outlined by the ICO, applicants can increase their chances of success and benefit from the program’s provisions.
