Emirates NBD, Dubai’s largest bank, is now offering digitally stamped bank statements to its customers for free. This digital stamp can be used for various purposes, including applying for visas to countries like the US and Schengen region. The bank will also provide a physical stamp facility to customers upon request. This new service aims to provide more convenience to customers and eliminate the need to visit a physical branch.

A digitally stamped bank statement is essential for visa applications by foreign missions in the UAE. A healthy bank statement can increase the chances of getting visas to advanced countries. While the acceptance of digitally stamped documents may vary depending on the country and specific institution, Emirates NBD is committed to providing flexible solutions for its customers. Customers who require a physically stamped bank statement can apply through the bank’s app, website, or call center and receive the statement through courier within two days for a nominal fee.

The digitally stamped statement is issued within 5 working days and customers will receive an SMS with the request details on their registered mobile number with the bank. This new facility allows customers to access digitally stamped statements anytime and anywhere, eliminating the need to visit a physical branch and wait in line. It also helps in reducing paper usage and cutting down on carbon footprint. Emirates NBD is the first bank in the UAE to introduce this digital stamp facility, showcasing its commitment to providing innovative and customer-centric services.

Customers can request a maximum of six months’ statements via the website. If a customer requires a stamped statement for over 6 months and up to 3 years, they can visit the nearest branch before 2 pm with their Emirates ID or passport for identification. The introduction of digitally stamped bank statements aligns with the bank’s efforts to leverage technology for a better customer experience and contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing paper usage.

In conclusion, Emirates NBD’s initiative to provide digitally stamped bank statements to its customers reflects its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. This new facility offers customers the convenience of obtaining digitally stamped statements instantly for free, eliminating the need for physical visits to the bank. With the increasing digitization of financial services, this move by Emirates NBD showcases its readiness to adapt to changing customer needs and preferences. By offering flexible solutions for visa application requirements and reducing paper usage, the bank is not only enhancing customer experience but also contributing to environmental sustainability.
