Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week (ADGHW) is set to take place for the first time and is organized by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi. This event aims to bring together health ministers, global policymakers, innovators, researchers, investors, and entrepreneurs to discuss the shift from healthcare to health. Dr Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of DoH – Abu Dhabi, highlights the importance of this transition towards promoting holistic health and wellness rather than just treating illnesses reactively.
The event will focus on personalized precision care, the biotech revolution, the power of data and AI in healthcare, and tech-enabled new models of care. The goal is to create a collective vision for the future of global health by fostering dialogue, anticipating healthcare demands, and shifting towards proactive care. With about 5,000 attendees, 1,000 delegates, 200 speakers, and 100 exhibitors expected, the event will address pressing global healthcare challenges and promote cross-sector collaboration to find actionable solutions.
The Health Leaders’ Forum will be structured around topics such as public-private partnerships, technology, AI, and innovation, global health equity and sustainability, and ethics and standards. The Future Health Summit will feature keynote speeches, panel sessions, and discussions on various themes central to the healthcare industry, from AI to microbiomes, regenerative medicine, longevity, genomics, and precision medicine.
