His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik recently concluded a successful two-day state visit to Kuwait, where he was warmly received by Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait. Upon his departure, His Majesty expressed his thanks for the hospitality extended to him during his visit. He was accompanied by a high-ranking official delegation during his time in Kuwait, highlighting the importance of strengthening diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, led the farewell ceremony for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik as he departed Kuwait after his state visit. The farewell ceremony was also attended by several senior Kuwaiti officials, including Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister, and Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Minister of Interior. The warm reception and send-off from Kuwaiti officials demonstrate the strong and friendly relationship shared between Kuwait and Oman.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik sent a cable of thanks to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality shown during his state visit to Kuwait. This gesture highlights the commitment to fostering positive relations between the two countries and the mutual respect shared between their leaders. During his visit to Kuwait, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik was accompanied by a delegation of high-ranking officials from Oman, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, and Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi. This delegation reflects the significance of the visit in terms of strengthening economic, political, and cultural ties between Oman and Kuwait. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and other key officials were also part of the delegation, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts between the two nations.
