The weather report for Friday, May 3, 2024, in Doha, Qatar, was captured beautifully by photographer Muhammad Shammas, who took stunning sunrise pictures. The Department of Meteorology released a daily weather report, stating that the weather inshore until 6pm on Saturday would be hot daytime with partly cloudy skies and a chance of scattered rain to the North. Offshore, the weather would also have scattered clouds to partly cloudy skies with a possibility of scattered rain, potentially thundery at times.

In terms of wind, inshore areas were expected to have a southeasterly to southwesterly wind blowing at speeds of 5 to 15 knots, occasionally gusting to 20 knots. Offshore locations would experience mainly southeasterly to southwesterly winds at a speed of 5 to 15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 30 knots during thundery rain in the North. Visibility inshore was predicted to be between 4 to 9 km, while offshore visibility would be around 4 to 9 km, but could drop to 3 km or less during thundery rain.

The sea state inshore was forecasted to be between 1 to 3 feet, but could rise to 5 feet during thundery rain. Offshore, the sea state was expected to be slightly higher, ranging from 2 to 4 feet, possibly rising to 10 feet during thundery rain. The report also warned of expected thundery rain associated with strong winds and high sea conditions in the North.

Overall, the weather conditions in Doha, Qatar, were expected to remain hot and partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain in the North both inshore and offshore. The winds were forecasted to be southeasterly to southwesterly, with gusts of up to 30 knots during thundery rain. Visibility could be reduced during thundery rain periods, and sea states may rise significantly during these weather events. Residents and visitors to the area were advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions if venturing out during these conditions.
