The head of the Arab League arrives in Bahrain

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, arrived in Bahrain to participate in the 33rd Arab Summit under the presidency of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He was welcomed at the Bahrain International Airport by Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, and Foreign Affairs Ministry officials. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, also met with Aboul Gheit to discuss the summit and HM King Hamad’s commitment to its success.

During the meeting, Dr. Al Zayani praised the collaboration between the League of Arab States’ General Secretariat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and relevant authorities in preparing for the summit.
