Sharjah is taking steps to enhance the quality of education in its private schools by developing and implementing standardised tests. The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has partnered with Diglossia, an assessment solutions provider, to exchange expertise and information as part of this project. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the two entities outlines the action plan aimed at achieving the emirate’s education goals.

SPEA will work with licensed schools to ensure that necessary data is shared with Diglossia for the implementation of standardised tests. The authority will also encourage schools to participate in these tests, which will ultimately contribute to improving the quality of education at these institutions. Diglossia, on the other hand, will provide SPEA with data, information, and analysis of exam results from the standardised tests conducted by the schools. The assessment solutions provider will ensure the reliability of the shared data and assist in developing plans to enhance school performance based on the test results.

This partnership between SPEA and Diglossia is a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education in Sharjah and developing the capabilities of students in private schools. The project aims to improve school performance and raise the standards of education in the emirate. By implementing standardised tests and analysing the results, the authorities hope to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions to enhance the overall education system in Sharjah.

The collaboration between SPEA and Diglossia demonstrates a commitment to enhancing education standards and providing students with a high-quality learning environment. By sharing expertise, information, and analysis, the two entities aim to drive improvements in school performance and ultimately, the quality of education in Sharjah. The standardised tests will provide valuable insights into student performance and help measure the effectiveness of educational practices in private schools.

The partnership between SPEA and Diglossia has the potential to significantly impact the education sector in Sharjah by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. By implementing standardised tests and data-driven analysis, the authorities can identify areas for growth and implement targeted strategies to address any shortcomings. This collaboration is a testament to Sharjah’s commitment to providing students with a world-class education and ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in a competitive global environment.

Overall, the partnership between the Sharjah Private Education Authority and Diglossia to develop and implement standardised tests is a positive step towards enhancing the quality of education in the emirate. By working together to exchange expertise and data, the two entities are paving the way for improved school performance and better educational outcomes for students in private schools. This collaboration underscores Sharjah’s dedication to providing students with a high-quality education and preparing them for success in the future.
