Rayan Ahmed from the UAE has been granted an exemption to participate in the 2024 US Junior Amateur Golf Championship, set to take place at the Oakland Hills Country Club from July 22nd to 27th, 2024. This 17-year-old golfer earned his spot among the top 100 age-eligible points leaders in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) as of May 8th, making him one of the 78 exempt players. Rayan’s successful golf season includes winning two gold medals at the GCC Youth Games in April, where he represented the UAE.
Expressing his excitement about competing with the best junior golfers in the world at the US Junior Amateur, Rayan also looks forward to the opportunity to meet Charlie Woods and potentially his father, Tiger Woods.
