World No 3 Alejandro Galan and Miguel Yanguas also secured a hard-fought win, while Francisco Navarro and Jorge Sanz completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win in just 33 minutes. In a similar fashion, Argentina’s men’s team also dominated their matches in Group A, showcasing their strength in the competition.

The women’s division saw Spain and Argentina continuing their winning streaks to top their respective groups, with Italy and France also remaining unbeaten. In key matches, France defeated the Netherlands 3-0, Belgium overcame Denmark 3-0, Sweden won against Uruguay 3-0, and Italy secured a 3-0 victory over Japan. Portugal also made a clean sweep against USA, while Brazil managed to beat Germany 2-1 in another competitive match.

In other notable matches, Brazil defeated Netherlands 3-0 while Chile emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Uruguay. The Championships showcased intense competition between the top nations in the world of padel, with each team striving to secure their spot in the later stages of the tournament.
