Al Jumaat from Qatar secures first place at the Arab Chess Championships

Qatar’s young chess champions, Lian Al Qassabi and Khaled Al Jumaat, recently made their mark at the Arab Chess Championships in Sousse, Tunisia. Al Jumaat secured the gold medal in the U-10 category with an impressive score of 8.5 points out of nine rounds, while Al Qassabi took home a bronze medal in the U-14 category with 5.5 points. The Qatari team also included other talented players across different age groups, showcasing their skills on an international platform.
