Shaikh Nasser emphasizes the vital role of young people in shaping Bahrain’s future

On International Youth Day, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, highlighted the importance of empowering and preparing Bahraini youth for the future. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has shown great attention to the development of the youth, with support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister has implemented national policies and strategic plans to empower young people, develop their skills, and groom them for future responsibilities. This approach is reflected in the government’s work programme, which aims to create digital pathways for a sustainable future.

According to HH Shaikh Nasser, the future of Bahrain lies with its youth, who are crucial for the Kingdom’s progress and achieving its goals. He emphasized the need for collaboration in guiding the youth towards a more sustainable world, equipped with skills relevant to global developments and digitization. Bahrain has consistently worked to empower its young people by instilling hope, enhancing their creative skills, and providing opportunities for growth. Listening to their ideas and supporting their development is seen as the best investment for the Kingdom’s future.

International Youth Day serves as an opportunity to deepen understanding of Bahraini youth and their essential role in upholding the Kingdom’s reputation. It encourages youth to be aware of their responsibilities and to offer bold visions and practical solutions for the country’s prosperity and development. HH Shaikh Nasser praised Bahraini youth for their efforts across various sectors, acknowledging their contributions to the Kingdom’s progress. He expressed confidence in their capacity to take on responsibility and drive forward Bahrain’s prosperity.

The theme of “Digital Pathways to a Sustainable Future” highlights the importance of preparing youth for the challenges of the digital age. Bahraini youth are recognized as key stakeholders in the Kingdom’s progress, with their efforts appreciated and their abilities valued. The government is committed to providing opportunities for the youth to advance towards the future, and it urges them to seize these chances for personal and professional growth.
