The Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, recently inspected the development works at several gardens in Muharraq Governorate. These projects are part of the ministry’s strategy to enhance public facilities and parks across Bahrain to meet the citizens’ needs and aspirations. The Undersecretary emphasized the importance of increasing green spaces, improving infrastructure, and addressing community requirements through these projects.

The development projects at Dir Western Garden, Dir Eastern Garden, and Samaheej Garden include various enhancements such as tree planting, installation of solar-powered lighting, diverse sports equipment, and play areas for people with special needs. Additionally, the tree planting plan for the Sixth District showcases the ministry’s commitment to national afforestation goals.

During the visit, MP Hisham Al Ashiri and Councillor Fadhel Al Oud expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts in advancing national development and addressing the needs of the citizens. They commended the collaborative work and pledged to continue supporting projects that enhance the quality of life in residential areas. The projects not only contribute to the beautification of the district but also promote community engagement and well-being through improved recreational facilities.
