The Dubai Food Festival (DFF) offered UAE residents a chance to enjoy delicious dishes for just Dh10 and unique chef’s menus at affordable prices. During the last weekend of the festival, people flocked to restaurants to make the most of the culinary delights on offer. For 13-year-old student Aydin Gayaz, visiting Konjiki was a treat, and he particularly enjoyed the Dh10 beef tataki dish. Working closely with restaurants, F&B establishments, and hotels, DFF provides a platform for showcasing Dubai’s diverse culinary scene, from Michelin-starred restaurants to pop-ups.

Lebanese expat Anthony found the festival to be a great way to discover new food and dining experiences in the city. He and his friends explored different restaurants and tried the Chef’s Menu feature at Tresind restaurant. Anthony appreciated the opportunity to sample various dishes through the Dh10 menu offering. The festival also introduced the Chef’s Menu, where head chefs of fine dining restaurants curated special menus with their most popular dishes for diners to enjoy.

The Chef’s Menu was available from 1 to 12 May, featuring a minimum of three courses selected by the chefs. Diners had the chance to interact with culinary experts and learn more about their craft. Prominent chefs such as Rahul Rana of Avatara, Damien Duviau of Nobu Dubai, and Alvin Leung of Demon Duck participated in the campaign. The festival also included a Foodie Experiences campaign, offering experiential dining events at various venues and food tours in neighborhoods like Karama and Deira.

Anthony and his sister planned to embark on a Dh10 food trail in Karama to sample different dishes on the last day of the festival. The opportunity to explore various cuisines and dishes at affordable prices was a highlight for many festival-goers. Through activations, special menus, events, and promotions, DFF continues to showcase Dubai’s culinary hotspots and provide a platform for eateries to showcase their best dishes to diners. The festival offers residents and visitors alike a chance to indulge in a wide variety of dining experiences and gastronomic delights.
