Qatar and El Salvador sign memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in legal and judicial fields

The Attorney-General of Qatar, H E Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi and the Attorney-General of El Salvador, H E Rodolfo Delgado, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering cooperation, exchanging expertise, and implementing joint training programmes in the field of public prosecution. The agreement will involve planning, preparing, and implementing activities and training programmes to enhance the efficiency of their respective public prosecution members, while also exchanging expertise within their competencies, taking into account their national legislation and international obligations.

During their meeting, H E Al Nuaimi and his Salvadoran counterpart discussed bilateral legal and judicial cooperation, as well as the exchange of experiences. The Attorney-General of El Salvador and his delegation were also given insights into the digital transformation process of the Qatari Public Prosecution, particularly in terms of the tech programmes and systems being utilized. This exchange of knowledge and best practices is expected to strengthen the capabilities and effectiveness of both public prosecution entities, ultimately benefiting the legal systems of both countries.

The MoU signed between Qatar and El Salvador highlights the commitment of both nations to enhance their public prosecution systems through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
