The Public Prosecution Attorney General in Bahrain, Dr. Ali bin Fadl AlBuainain, has announced the launch of new electronic services through the national portal bahrain.bh, in collaboration with the Information and e-Government Authority (iGA). This move is part of the Public Prosecution’s strategy for digital transformation, aiming to make legal services more accessible to the public by transitioning from paper-based to electronic platforms. Some of the new services introduced include the statement request issuance service and the financial recovery request service, allowing users to electronically submit requests and seek recovery of financial sums for Public Prosecution case requests.

Users now have the ability to manage applications and statements, inquire about application status, and conveniently view and print issued statements through the national portal. Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Qaed, CEO of iGA, emphasized the Authority’s commitment to launching legal sector services as part of their continuous efforts in digital transformation. He also highlighted the collaborative efforts between iGA and other relevant institutions to implement digital processes effectively.

The introduction of these new electronic services not only enhances accessibility for individuals interacting with the Public Prosecution but also signifies a significant step towards modernizing the legal sector in Bahrain. By transitioning key legal services to online platforms, the Public Prosecution aims to streamline processes, reduce paperwork, and provide a more efficient and user-friendly experience for users seeking legal assistance. The move towards digital transformation reflects the government’s commitment to embracing technology to improve service delivery and enhance public access to legal services.

The statement request issuance service and financial recovery request service are just a few examples of the digital services now available through the national portal bahrain.bh. These services enable users to easily submit requests, track application statuses, and seek financial recovery for Public Prosecution case requests. By implementing these digital services, the Public Prosecution and iGA are paving the way for a more efficient and accessible legal system in Bahrain, ultimately benefiting individuals seeking legal assistance and improving overall service delivery in the legal sector.

As part of their ongoing efforts in digital transformation, the Public Prosecution and iGA are continuously working on launching new electronic services and enhancing existing ones. The collaboration between the Public Prosecution and iGA, as well as other relevant institutions, is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of digital processes in the legal sector. By working together, these organizations are able to leverage technology to streamline legal services, improve efficiencies, and enhance the overall user experience for individuals seeking legal assistance in Bahrain.

In conclusion, the rollout of new electronic services through the national portal bahrain.bh marks a significant milestone in the digital transformation of the legal sector in Bahrain. By introducing online platforms for key legal services, the Public Prosecution and iGA are not only making legal services more accessible but also streamlining processes, reducing paperwork, and enhancing overall service delivery. This move underscores the government’s commitment to embracing technology to improve public access to legal services and signifies a positive step towards a more efficient and user-friendly legal system in Bahrain.
