Pet-sitting services have become increasingly popular in the UAE, especially during the summer and holiday seasons when residents travel. The demand for pet-sitters spikes during peak seasons such as July, August, December, January, and Easter. Prices for pet-sitting services range from Dh70 to Dh170 per visit, with expenses for up to 3 weeks reaching Dh3,570. Specialized sitters offer regular check-ins and care to ensure the well-being of pets while their owners are away.

Paulita Hesketh, the owner of The Pet Sitter Dubai, has observed the seasonal demand for pet-sitting services. The company experiences a surge in bookings during peak seasons and ensures high-quality service without hiring additional staff. A standard visit can last 30 minutes and cost Dh85 for 2 pets of the same species. The company offers 30 to 60-minute visits conducted in the familiar environment of the client’s home, with a detailed service model that includes matching pets with suitable sitters based on essential details.

Andrea Petrovic, a Serbian expat in the UAE, turned to pet-sitting services after noticing changes in her cat when left in a boarding facility. As a part-time pet sitter herself, Andrea understands the importance of pets feeling comfortable at home. She believes that cats, in particular, are sensitive animals who prefer familiar surroundings. While she occasionally boards her dog, she prefers to hire licensed pet-sitters for her cat to ensure their well-being and comfort.

Layla Binbrek, a Canadian expat, shares her experience with pet-sitting services, highlighting the convenience and peace of mind they provide. She has used the services for several years and appreciates the care and attention her pet receives while she is away. Binbrek values the reliability of the pet-sitters, especially during unexpected situations like storms, where they ensure the safety and well-being of the pets under their care.

Hassan M, a Lebanese expat, also relies on pet-sitting services to care for his dog while he travels for work. As a busy professional, Hassan found it challenging to ensure his pet’s well-being while away. The convenience and reliability of the service have been invaluable to him, allowing him to focus on his work without worrying about his dog being alone. Hassan has built a strong relationship with the pet sitters he works with, considering them as friends who provide support and care for his pet in his absence.

Overall, pet-sitting services in the UAE offer pet owners peace of mind, convenience, and a reliable solution to ensure their pets are well-cared for while they are away. The demand for such services continues to grow, especially during peak travel seasons, highlighting the importance of professional and reliable pet care for residents in the UAE. Whether it’s for short vacations or extended periods, pet-sitting services provide a valuable solution for pet owners who want to ensure their pets are safe, comfortable, and happy while they are away.
