The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Environment Authority, recently chaired the meeting of the Executive Office of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) via video conferencing. During the meeting, members discussed the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Office during the 7th session of the UNEA, as well as the adoption of a roadmap for their tasks and the methodology for preparing topics for the Assembly. They also reviewed a draft document on “Subject Assessment” to build on the benefits from the previous session.
