Qatar Boat Show 2024 is set to boost Qatars tourism industry and promote marine tourism, with the aim of positioning Qatar as a global maritime tourism destination. The event, which concluded recently, attracted approximately 20,000 visitors and featured 75 companies from 11 countries showcasing 100 marine vessels. CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, highlighted the importance of the agreements and deals forged during the show, emphasizing the positive impact on the local marine industry.

Al Mulla expressed optimism that the exhibition would help localize and strengthen Qatar’s marine industry, with a focus on supporting local companies in the sector. The aim is to establish Qatar Boat Show 2024 as an annual event, creating a consistent platform for companies in the sector to showcase their products and services. The exhibition aims to stimulate economic growth, boost tourism in Qatar, and position Doha Port as a key tourist destination by showcasing top-tier marine and recreational innovations.

The event aims to attract international companies to facilitate knowledge exchange and expand Qatar’s expertise in the marine field. By introducing innovative products and services, the show aims to diversify options for the Qatari market and enhance Doha Ports infrastructure to encourage innovation and elevate Qatar’s status in global maritime tourism. Al Mulla reiterated the organizing committee’s aspiration to establish Qatar Boat Show 2024 as a premier event in the regional and Middle Eastern yacht show calendar, aligning with Doha Port’s strategy and Qatar’s commitment to sustainable development.

Participants at Qatar Boat Show 2024 had the opportunity to view a wide range of yachts and boats, including the latest models and cutting-edge designs. Attendees were also able to explore the newest trends in the boat and yacht markets and stay informed on technological advancements and sustainable designs through seminars and workshops led by experts from the maritime industry. The show aims to advance Qatar’s tourism sector and promote marine tourism by aligning efforts with strategic plans that reinforce the port’s position as a landmark tourist attraction in central Doha.
