NMS Bahrain commemorates International Yoga Day

The students of NMS Bahrain recently celebrated International Yoga Day on June 20th, participating in a variety of activities to promote the benefits of yoga for overall health and wellbeing. The event included guided yoga postures to emphasize the importance of yoga in enhancing mental and physical health. In addition, students engaged in drawing and slogan writing activities to spread the message of yoga as a valuable tool for promoting good health and overall wellness. School Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Geetha Pillai, and Principal Dr. Arun Kuumar Sharma all extended their well wishes for long and healthy lives to all participants.

Yoga has been recognized worldwide as a powerful practice that can significantly improve both mental and physical health. By engaging in yoga postures, individuals are able to stretch their bodies, improve flexibility, and strengthen their muscles. The practice also focuses on deep breathing techniques that can help calm the mind, reduce stress, and improve overall mental wellbeing. By participating in International Yoga Day activities, the students of NMS Bahrain were able to experience firsthand the transformative effects of yoga on their bodies and minds.

Drawing and slogan writing activities were also an important part of the International Yoga Day celebrations at NMS Bahrain. School Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Geetha Pillai, and Principal Dr. Arun Kuumar Sharma played an essential role in organizing and supporting the International Yoga Day celebrations at NMS Bahrain. By extending their good wishes for a long and healthy life to all participants, they highlighted the school’s commitment to promoting health and wellbeing among its students.
