More than 216 tons of dates sold as festival concludes tomorrow

The 9th Local Dates Exhibition at Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar has been a tremendous success since it opened on July 23. With over 216,891 kg of dates sold, the 12-day event has attracted a large number of residents and tourists who have flocked to the festival to purchase a variety of fresh dates. The festival will conclude tomorrow, August 3, and the public is invited to visit the air-conditioned tent at the Eastern Square from 4pm to 9pm on the final day.

The exhibition features a wide range of date varieties from over 100 local farms, including Khalas, Shishi, Sukkari, Khanizi, Barhi, Nabt Sayf, Lulu, and Raziz. These dates are available at reasonable prices, making it a great opportunity for visitors to sample and purchase different types of dates.
