The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar recently took part in the seventh session of the Qatar-Iraq Joint Committee for Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation. This session was chaired and organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, with the attendance of Minister H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qasim Al Thani. The meeting took place in Baghdad from July 7-8, 2024, and aimed to strengthen relations between the two countries. Khaled Al Kubaisi, a legal expert from the International Cooperation Department, represented Qatar at the event, along with representatives from other relevant ministries and government entities.

One of the key topics discussed during the session was cooperation in the field of education, higher education, and scientific research. The goal was to explore opportunities for collaboration and support between Qatar and Iraq in these areas.
