The festival’s location at Mokha Beach in Sur is the perfect backdrop for a celebration of marine sports and traditions. Surrounded by natural beauty and historical significance, this coastal town offers a unique setting for visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and heritage. With its long history as a cultural communication center, Sur is a fitting choice for hosting an event that aims to promote tourism and preserve the region’s maritime heritage.

As part of the wider efforts to boost tourism in Oman, the Sur Marine Sports Festival plays a crucial role in attracting visitors to the region and showcasing its unique attractions.
