Lebanese American University (LAU) has recently achieved a significant milestone by converting its academic center in New York into a branch campus, approved by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. This move allows LAU New York to confer degrees and offer a range of fully accredited degree and certificate programs, including Online MBA in Global Business Administration, Online MBA in Business Analytics, Online MS in Computer Science, and Online MS in Applied Artificial Intelligence. The approval opens up opportunities for learners around the world to access world-class instructors from New York City while maintaining partnerships with LAU’s Beirut and Byblos campuses.

LAU President Michel E Mawad expressed excitement about expanding the boundaries of higher education through this move, emphasizing the importance of cross-cultural exchange, experiential learning, and global connectivity in academic excellence. The approval signifies a significant step for the university in enhancing a globally diverse and culturally rich learning community. With 78% of students studying outside of Lebanon from over 25 different countries, LAU brings together a diverse set of cultures to collaborate on cutting-edge research and innovations.

The programs offered through LAU’s branch campus in New York provide a unique gateway between Eastern and Western culture, offering students a truly global perspective. With a focus on business and technology innovation, these programs equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the international business landscape. The conversion of the New York academic center into a branch campus represents the university’s commitment to innovation and accessibility to quality higher education on par with international standards.

For individuals looking to position themselves at the forefront of business and technology innovation, LAU’s Online MBA and MS programs offer the specialized knowledge that employers are seeking. Prospective students can find out more information about joining the next student intake by contacting the admissions team at LAU New York. With the goal of providing top-notch education and fostering a culturally rich learning environment, LAU continues to prioritize innovation and excellence in higher education.
