Khazaen Economic City in Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate, is set to open an innovative worker accommodation called “Al Maskan Village” by mid-2024, making it the first integrated labor accommodation offering sustainable solutions for investors in the economic zone. The residential complex, covering an area of over 55,000 square meters and with an investment value of OMR25 million, has seen more than 90 percent completion within just 22 months of signing the agreement to develop and operate the village.
