Joaan bin Jassim Academy celebrates graduation of National Defence Course participants

Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies recently celebrated the graduation of the National Defense Course No. (4) and the Joint Command and Staff Course No. (10) at its headquarters in Al Khor city, Qatar. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of State for Interior Affairs H E Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani, and Commander of the Amiri Guard H E Lieutenant General Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani.

The participants in these courses included members of the armed forces, military and security authorities, as well as senior employees from various ministries and institutions in Qatar. Additionally, officers from friendly and fraternal countries were also part of the programs. The ceremony recognized outstanding students and graduates, showcasing the academy’s commitment to excellence in defense education.

During the event, President of the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies H E Major General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen presented Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah with a special postage stamp issued by Qatar Post in collaboration with the academy to commemorate its 10th anniversary. This gesture highlights the importance of the academy in Qatar’s defense education landscape.

The graduation ceremony also featured a presentation on the educational process at the academy, shedding light on the rigorous training and development programs offered to the students. The academy plays a vital role in preparing future leaders in defense and security sectors, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

The presence of senior officer commanders in the armed forces, military authorities, and diplomats at the ceremony underscores the significance of the academy in Qatar’s defense strategy. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange with international partners, the academy strengthens Qatar’s defense capabilities and enhances regional security.

Overall, the graduation ceremony at Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the participants in the National Defense Course and the Joint Command and Staff Course.
