Saudi Arabia has recently announced a new initiative to provide monthly financial grants to help alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. The deteriorating conditions in Gaza, as a result of the Israeli occupation and violations of international humanitarian laws, have prompted this response from Saudi Arabia. This support is part of the continued efforts led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to provide comprehensive assistance to the Palestinian people and support the State of Palestine.

Saudi Arabia has emphasized the crucial role played by its leadership in engaging the international community to stop the violence, protect civilians, and increase humanitarian aid to Palestinians. The Palestinian cause remains a top priority for Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom continues to work towards improving the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

The efforts by Saudi Arabia have not gone unnoticed, as several nations have recognized the State of Palestine and called for its full membership in the United Nations. These nations have also urged an end to Israeli aggression and the blockade on Gaza. Saudi Arabia’s support to Palestine has been significant, surpassing $5.3 billion over the years, covering humanitarian, relief, and development projects. This reaffirms the Kingdom’s longstanding commitment to assisting the Palestinian people and supporting their right to self-determination.
