Child and Family Forum Set to Launch in Oman
The organizing committee of the second Child and Family Forum has confirmed its readiness for the event scheduled to take place from October 1 to 10 at the Al Sahwa Gardens in Oman. This announcement was made during a press conference held at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Muscat. The forum aims to provide a comprehensive platform that prioritizes children’s and families’ needs.
Emphasis on Community and Responsibility
Sheikh Mansour bin Nasser al-Nabhani, the director general of the Capital Exhibition Center and the forum’s secretary general, discussed the broader vision for this year’s forum. He noted that the event expands on the success of its inaugural edition, aspiring to become an integrated societal platform that emphasizes knowledge, culture, entertainment, and skill development. This year’s forum is positioned as more than just an event; it aims to create a lasting impact on the community.
According to al-Nabhani, focusing on children signifies investing in the future. He emphasized that the knowledge, values, and awareness instilled in children today will shape communities tomorrow. The forum serves as a living space where families can meet with institutions, fostering a shared responsibility to provide children with an environment conducive to discovering their abilities, honing their talents, and expressing their ideas.
Inclusivity for All Children
One of the key elements of this year’s forum is its commitment to inclusivity, particularly for children with disabilities and their families. Al-Nabhani emphasized the importance of creating equitable experiences for all children, enabling them to participate and engage in various programs and activities. The forum aims to provide an environment that nurtures children’s talents and broadens their opportunities for involvement and integration.
The forum’s theme highlights the core principles that it stands for, echoing the importance of community support and the role families play in children’s growth and development. By ensuring that all children, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, have the same opportunities, the forum seeks to reinforce the message that every child deserves access to experiences that foster their potential.
Looking Ahead: Anticipated Outcomes of the Forum
The second edition of the Child and Family Forum is poised to deliver various programs and activities that cater to children and families alike. Participants can expect an engaging mix of workshops, cultural events, and entertainment options designed to educate and inspire. These offerings aim to promote skills development, social understanding, and cooperative engagement among families.
The forum also serves as a reminder of the wider responsibilities society bears in nurturing and safeguarding children’s futures. By hosting such events, Oman’s leaders hope to generate a greater sense of community involvement and dialogue surrounding the needs and rights of children. Community members are encouraged to participate actively and contribute to these programs, reinforcing the collective role in shaping the next generation.
In conclusion, the Child and Family Forum holds significant promise for promoting a culture of inclusivity and growth for children and families in Oman. As the event approaches, stakeholders are urged to engage with the programs available and embrace the opportunity to foster an enriching atmosphere for children. The community can look forward to the valuable experiences that will emerge from this initiative.
