Government officials inspect progress of waterfront project on the corniche

The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, and Minister of Works, Eng. Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj recently conducted an inspection visit to the King Faisal Corniche waterfront development project in Manama. The purpose of the visit was to review the progress of Phase One of the project. The development includes walking, jogging, and cycling paths, green spaces, playgrounds, an administrative building, pump rooms, water tanks, an irrigation system, parking spaces, and lighting works.

The ministers were briefed on the project’s progress during the visit, which aims to enhance Manama’s seafront and align with the priorities of the Higher Committee for Urban Planning. Eng. Al Mubarak emphasized that the project is a significant part of Manama’s strategic development initiatives. The project spans approximately 46,000 square meters and features walkways, play areas, playgrounds, green spaces, service buildings, and waterfront restaurants.

The King Faisal Corniche waterfront development project in Manama is a key component of the city’s urban planning efforts. The project includes various amenities such as walking, jogging, and cycling paths, green spaces, playgrounds, an administrative building, pump rooms, water tanks, an irrigation system, parking spaces, and lighting works. Eng. Al Mubarak emphasized the importance of the project in enhancing Manama’s seafront and aligning with the priorities of the Higher Committee for Urban Planning.
