Residents of Doha, Qatar will now experience shorter waiting times for the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram’s metrolink routes M148, M152, M302, and M303. This news comes as a relief for commuters who rely on public transportation to get around the city, especially during the scorching summer months when the sun beats down relentlessly. The updated waiting times for these routes aim to provide a more efficient and seamless travel experience for passengers.

M148, which serves the area of UDST – Qatar University on the Red line, will have waiting times of 9 minutes from Sunday to Thursday during peak hours, 12 minutes during mid-day hours, 15 minutes in the evening, and 20 minutes during other times and on weekends. On the other hand, M152, M302, and M303, which cover areas such as Abraj Quartier – Legtaifiya on the Red line, Fereej Bin Mahmoud – Al Sadd on the Gold line, and Rawdat Al Khail – Bin Mahmoud on the Gold line, will have waiting times of 9 minutes during peak hours and 15 minutes during off-peak hours.

The metrolink feeder bus network is provided free of charge to Qatar Rail customers and offers transportation within a 2 to 5 kilometer radius of the Doha Metro stations. This service aims to bridge the gap between the metro stations and the final destinations of passengers, providing convenient and accessible public transportation options for those living in Doha. The updated waiting times for the metrolink routes will ensure that passengers can reach their destinations in a timely manner, enhancing the overall travel experience for residents and tourists alike.

With the shorter waiting times for the metrolink routes, commuters can expect a more streamlined and efficient journey when using the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram services. This improvement in public transportation will not only benefit residents who rely on these services for their daily commute but also help reduce traffic congestion and promote sustainable transportation options in the city. Passengers can now plan their trips more effectively knowing that they will spend less time waiting for the next bus to arrive, allowing for a smoother and more enjoyable travel experience.

The announcement of shorter waiting times for the metrolink routes comes as welcome news for residents in Doha, especially during the hot summer months when staying outdoors for prolonged periods can be challenging. By reducing the waiting times for these feeder bus services, the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram are demonstrating their commitment to improving the public transportation infrastructure in the city and providing passengers with a more reliable and efficient way to get around. With these changes in place, commuters can look forward to a more convenient and hassle-free travel experience when using the metrolink routes to access the metro and tram services in Doha.

In conclusion, the updated waiting times for the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram’s metrolink routes M148, M152, M302, and M303 will provide residents of Doha with a more efficient and convenient way to travel around the city. By reducing the wait times for these feeder bus services, passengers can enjoy a smoother and more seamless journey when using public transportation in Doha. This improvement in the metrolink services will not only benefit commuters but also help reduce traffic congestion and promote sustainable transportation options in the city. With these changes in place, residents can look forward to a more enjoyable and stress-free travel experience when using the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram services.
