The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Muscat has introduced new improvements and facilitation measures for various services provided to investors and businessmen through the Oman Business Platform. These efforts are part of the ministry’s goal to simplify, streamline, and expedite business transactions by redeveloping procedures and reducing necessary requirements. This initiative aims to simplify business sector services related to commercial activities, saving time and effort for investors and business owners while enhancing the business environment in Oman and attracting more local and foreign investments.

Among the improvements introduced are services such as commercial registration, updating commercial registry information, and transferring ownership of the commercial registry. Additionally, enhancements have been made to licensing applications and the registration of companies under the Foreign Capital Investment Law. These updates involve streamlining procedures and reducing required conditions, resulting in a better user experience and faster and more effective transaction processing. Ultimately, these improvements support the investment environment in Oman and attract additional investments to the country.

The ministry has expressed its ongoing commitment to assessing and improving the services provided based on investors’ feedback and needs. The aim is to offer an integrated and easy experience that supports economic growth and contributes to achieving sustainable development in Oman. The number of transactions completed through the Oman Business Platform reached an impressive 487,300 during the first half of 2024, indicating the positive impact of the new improvements and facilitation measures introduced by the ministry.

The introduction of these new improvements and facilitation measures is a significant step towards creating a more investor-friendly and business-friendly environment in Oman. By simplifying procedures, reducing requirements, and streamlining processes, the ministry is making it easier for investors and business owners to conduct their transactions quickly and efficiently. This not only saves time and effort for beneficiaries but also enhances the overall business environment in the country, making it more attractive for both local and foreign investments.

The enhancements made to services such as commercial registration, updating commercial registry information, and licensing applications demonstrate the ministry’s commitment to improving the user experience and ensuring faster and more effective transaction processing. By listening to investors’ feedback and needs, the ministry is able to tailor its services to meet the demands of the business community in Oman, further supporting economic growth and sustainable development in the country.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Muscat is dedicated to providing a seamless and efficient experience for investors and businessmen through the Oman Business Platform. The new improvements and facilitation measures introduced not only simplify business transactions but also enhance the investment environment in Oman and attract more local and foreign investments. By continuing to assess and improve its services based on feedback and needs, the ministry is paving the way for economic growth and sustainable development in the Sultanate of Oman.
