Ehsan, a center for the empowerment and care of the elderly in Qatar, recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Qatar Museums to enhance cooperation and implement joint community programs. The agreement aims to raise awareness about the important role that the elderly play in society and to support their active participation in various fields. The MoU was signed by the Executive Director of Ehsan and the CEO of Qatar Museums, highlighting the commitment of both parties to providing necessary care and empowerment for the elderly.

Manal Ahmed Al Mannai, the Executive Director of Ehsan, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two organizations to better support the elderly population and continue developing in this vital field. Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi, CEO of Qatar Museums, expressed the organization’s pleasure in collaborating with Ehsan to enhance the role of the elderly in society, reflecting their commitment to inclusivity in all their activities and programs.

The memorandum includes various initiatives to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, such as preserving Qatari heritage and raising awareness about international days related to the elderly. It also aims to provide empowerment and care for the elderly through skill training courses and utilizing Qatar Museums’ facilities to showcase their products and hold exhibitions. This partnership will help promote and market the work of elderly members of the center, benefiting both parties and the community as a whole.

Overall, the agreement between Ehsan and Qatar Museums underscores the importance of recognizing and supporting the elderly population in Qatar. By working together to implement joint programs and initiatives, both organizations are committed to fostering a sense of community, inclusivity, and empowerment for the elderly, contributing to the overall social, economic, and cultural development of the country. This partnership is a step towards achieving a more inclusive and supportive society for older adults in Qatar, in alignment with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
