The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman) in Doha, which is a part of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has organized a series of awareness activities during the summer in collaboration with various government ministries. These workshops aim to educate participants on social protection issues and the services provided by the center to women and children. The workshops cover topics related to social protection in cooperation with Education City and the Aspire Zone Foundation.

The Executive Director of AMAN Center, Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani, highlighted the importance of the public’s engagement with these awareness workshops. He emphasized the center’s mission to provide protection and social rehabilitation to reduce violence and family disintegration. The goal is to work in partnership with governmental and private sectors to achieve the goals of the National Development Strategy of Qatar.

Sheikh Dr. Nasser praised the collaboration with youth centers, sports clubs, and Quran memorization centers affiliated with various ministries to implement the Aman awareness workshops. He stressed that community responsibility is shared between public and private institutions, and cooperation is essential to achieving the center’s objectives. Director of the Community Awareness Department at Aman Center, Bakhita Al Ghayathin, stated that workshops will cover topics such as bullying, technological blackmail, and protecting women, children, and victims of family violence.

Overall, the Aman Center’s awareness workshops play a crucial role in educating participants, including children, women, parents, and specialists, on issues related to protection and social rehabilitation. The center’s collaboration with various government ministries and initiatives demonstrates a commitment to community partnership and contributing to Qatar’s National Development Strategy. By raising awareness on social protection issues, the center aims to reduce violence and family disintegration and promote a safer and more inclusive society for all.
