Dubai Celebrates Olympic Games Spirit with DXB Games

The Olympic Games have brought together the best athletes from all over the world in Paris, with participants aiming to win medals for their respective countries in what is known as the ‘Greatest show on Earth.’ Dubai has joined in on the action and excitement with the launch of the first DXB Games at DXB Terminal 3. Passengers travelling through or from this bustling airport can now experience the thrill of the Games by participating in various sports events. In addition, participants have the opportunity to win gold, silver, or bronze medals for their remarkable efforts.

Dubai’s Terminal 3 has been transformed into a vibrant sporting arena for the DXB Games, turning the world’s busiest international hub into a celebration of sportsmanship and cultural diversity. From July 26 to August 11, travellers can engage in activities such as the bike sprint to success, football keep-ups challenge, and a basketball shootout. Compete with family or fellow travellers for a chance to earn bronze, silver, and gold medals that come with exciting cash vouchers, adding even more excitement to the fun-filled atmosphere.

Michelle Lee, Vice President of Brand and Communications at Dubai Airports, expressed the significance of leveraging the platform provided by one of the world’s largest sporting events to promote and celebrate international diversity. She emphasized the commitment to providing memorable experiences that resonate with guests and eagerly anticipating the joy and camaraderie that the DXB Games will inspire. Guests can also enjoy live broadcasts of the international sports festival at various food and beverage outlets, which will offer special menus to support the sporting cheer, further enhancing the festive atmosphere and allowing travellers to enjoy the athletic spirit throughout their journey at DXB.
