The Dubai Metro stations that were closed due to heavy rains in mid-April are set to reopen by May 28th. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that the On Passive, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy Metro stations will resume normal operations once all maintenance and safety tests are completed. This ensures that the stations are ready to operate at the highest standards and efficiency.

Passengers are advised to stay updated with the latest news and developments by following KT on WhatsApp Channels. Despite the closure of four stations, the RTA has made alternative arrangements to serve commuters. 150 buses will continue to serve passengers traveling from Business Bay to On Passive, Mall of the Emirates, Mashreq, Equiti, Dubai Internet City, and Al Khail Metro stations.

The RTA is working diligently to restore normal operations at the affected Metro stations, and passengers can expect to see a resumption of services soon. Following the completion of maintenance and safety tests, the four closed stations will be back in service, ensuring a seamless commute for residents and visitors in Dubai.

As the RTA continues to work on reopening the closed Metro stations, the authority is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency for passengers. The closure of the four stations was a result of the heavy rains that hit the emirate in mid-April, causing disruptions in transportation services. Once reopened, the stations will be fully operational and ready to serve commuters.

In the meantime, passengers are encouraged to utilize alternative transportation options provided by the RTA to reach their destinations. The 150 buses serving the affected routes will help minimize disruptions and inconvenience for commuters traveling to and from the affected Metro stations. Stay updated with the latest news and announcements to stay informed about the reopening of the closed stations and any further developments.
