Friendly Early Childhood Centre located in Al Safa 2, Dubai, is one of the most expensive childcare facilities in the area, charging an annual fee of Dh80,000. The centre caters to children aged 1.5 to 5 years old and offers premium services such as daily doctor’s examinations, customised orthopaedic mattresses, and personalised meal plans for an extra Dh17,000. With robots greeting the children and a psychologist assisting with the transition, the centre focuses on providing a unique and high-quality experience for its young attendees.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on nutrition, with meals never being fried and prepared through baking, boiling, or steaming. Meal plans are carefully curated with a focus on proteins, fats, and carbohydrates tailored to each age group. Founder Angelina Dubrovskaia conducted extensive research, visiting over 200 nurseries worldwide before establishing the centre. Bilingual groups are taught in English and Russian, while international interactions are conducted in English to provide a diverse learning environment.

The centre’s staff focuses on teaching children table manners and encourages them to eat independently by age 2, using child-safe utensils. Meal portions are calculated according to nutritional norms for each age group, ensuring that children receive a balanced and healthy diet. The menu development process took nearly a year and a half, involving test sessions with children and parents to ensure nutritional value and appeal. Children are exposed to a wide range of activities including art and craft, multiple languages, music and singing, gymnastics, yoga, tennis, and football, enhancing their overall development.

With a comprehensive financial model outlining their expenditure and cost structure, the centre offers instruction from experts hailing from various countries such as England, Denmark, Switzerland, Russia, Canada, and more. Children receive daily examinations from a doctor, and classrooms are disinfected regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Custom orthopaedic mattresses and cooling effect orthopaedic pillows, designed based on age-specific height requirements, are provided to ensure the comfort and well-being of the children during nap time.

The nursery also utilizes technology to keep parents informed with real-time progress updates through a dedicated app. Angelina underscores the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, providing each child with three sets of individual, freshly laundered and ironed bedding weekly. Additionally, the facility incorporates art pieces and projections of the starry sky during nap time to stimulate creativity and aesthetics in children from a young age. By offering a holistic approach to childcare that prioritizes health, education, and overall well-being, Friendly Early Childhood Centre stands out as a premium early learning facility in Dubai.
