Chairman of ISB inaugurates Aalekh’24 Inter-School Art Carnival and Exhibition.

The Indian School in Isa Town, Bahrain recently hosted the inauguration of the inter-school art carnival, Aalekh’24, and the Art Exhibition. The event was attended by ISB Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, along with other key members of the school’s administration, including Secretary V. Rajapandian and Vice-Chairman Dr. Mohammed Faizal. Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, and various staff representatives were also present, along with community leaders, parents, and attendees.

The carnival showcased the talents of over 3,000 young artists, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and anticipation. The event promised a day of cultural programs, leading up to a grand finale and prize distribution at the Jashanmal auditorium. One of the highlights of the carnival is the ‘Harmony’ group painting event, where school teams work together to create acrylic paintings on canvas. This activity promotes teamwork and collective creativity among students aged 12-18.

In addition to the group painting event, the Art Wall contest invited artists above 18 to contribute their work to the vibrant display of talent. The event aims to create a platform for artists of all ages to showcase their skills and interact with a diverse audience. By showcasing a wide range of artistic talents, the carnival provides a unique opportunity for participants to engage with the creative community and gain recognition for their work.

The Art Exhibition inauguration at The Indian School’s Isa Town campus was a celebration of artistic expression and creativity. Through various activities and programs, the event aimed to inspire and encourage young artists to pursue their passion for art. By providing a platform for individuals to showcase their work, the carnival contributed to the cultural enrichment of the community and highlighted the importance of art education in schools.

The carnival and Art Exhibition at The Indian School were organized to promote artistic talent, teamwork, and creativity among students. By participating in the event, young artists had the opportunity to express themselves and gain valuable experience in a supportive and encouraging environment.
